Traveling, whether locally or afar can be inspirational, memorable and life-changing. Travel fosters cultural awareness, tolerance and a deeper appreciation for the hidden beauty within our world.
Art Inspired by Travel showcases the works of artists from the Pacific Rim Sculptors, a chapter of the International Sculpture Center, who are inspired by travel. The show is juried and curated by Robert Melton and is organized by PRS.
The exhibition is on view from September 30, 2022 to February 17, 2023 in the beautiful building that is home of the renowned Commonwealth Club of California in San Francisco.

About the Curator and Juror:
ROBERT MELTON is the Outreach Coordinator / Curator for de Young College Arts Program, a freelance curator and community events art organizer. He is the founder and executive director for Nexus ArtReach Art Collective. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Ethnic Studies and Art History and a Master's degree in Museum Studies with emphasis on curatorship and public programming from San Francisco State University. Melton has curated a variety of art exhibitions and events throughout the San Francisco Bay Area including the recent Sculpture of the Pacific Rim at the Commonwealth Club.
